Mount your headset battery pack out of the way in your Piper Cub!

(The photo shows a Lightspeed Zulu but the function is identical!)

Included is a bracket custom fitted to your headset control which fits nicely against the tube frame in your aircraft. Two mounting slots, 1/4 in (6.35 mm) wide, sized for a standard 4.8 mm (3/16 in) cable tie - a snug flat fit. Heavy-duty 7.6 mm ties will not fit. No attachment hardware is included; the mounting method and location are the owner's or their mechanic's decision.

Optionally I’ll include a couple of hooks for your headset that also hangs from the tube frame at the top of your cockpit.

I guarantee the bracket for life. If it ever breaks under normal use, I'll send you a new one. Replacement hooks are available at a discount for buyers of the mounting system. Just send me a message for a promo code.

Pick your colors! You can mix and match the set or have it all one color. Just put a note or send a message! If not specified, all will come in the same color.

Not an aircraft part, not FAA-approved, and not produced under any FAA design or production approval. Nothing here is a representation that this item is airworthy or acceptable for installation on any aircraft. This is a bracket only - it has mounting slots, and no attachment hardware is supplied or specified. On a type-certificated aircraft, attaching it is an alteration: have an appropriately rated mechanic choose the mounting method and location and make the required maintenance record entry. On experimental or amateur-built aircraft, the owner is responsible under that aircraft's operating limitations. Not all exposed tube in a cockpit is structure - some of it moves. Never attach this to a control stick, torque tube, pushrod, cable, fuel or fluid line, or wiring, or anywhere it could chafe, restrict a control, or obstruct egress. Inspect the bracket and its attachment at each inspection.
